6GW prepared music for their assembly using a variety of different instruments - glockenspiels, hand chimes, boomwhackers and a pair of manjeera chimes. Below are recordings of the music they made in class.

Year 4 presented a mini musical concert to Year 3 to demonstrate their instrumental learning over this term. Year 4 have benefitted from a scheme run by the Essex Music Education service to promote and develop engagement with instruments, using our class sets of glockenspiels. The children have had lessons each week in the Autumn 2023 term with a specialist from the music service and the mini concert was the culmination of that course. Year 4 presented several songs and pieces, including the ones shown below - Jingle Bells, Carol of the Bells and The Twelve Days of Christmas.
